Back Home

Hi Friends,

I just returned from an all too short vacation in California with my younger Sister, Sharon. Her much-loved husband died a couple of years ago and she is coming out of a very sorrowful time. The Scripture states that "weeping may endure for the night, but JOY comes in the morning". I saw a lot of joy in her - and that was good. We shared the kind of laughter that only "sisters" would understand. I also had a two hour "girl" lunch with long time friends....JUST NOTHING LIKE IT.

The high point was the privilege to attend church at Angeles Temple, founded by Aimee Simple McPherson. I've read everything about that lady that I can find. She was greatly used of God in her lifetime, and it was a thrill to see that legendary building packed to the walls.........filled with praises and new salvations. Jentzen Franklin spoke..............really - no words to describe it.

Because of my absence, HOMEKEEPERS will feature excellent guests worth repeating.

Monday, July 27: Justin Fennell
This full time comedian will bring a smile to your face, and I can vouch for his wonderful recipe.

Tuesday, July 28: Pastor Myra Leon
Myra, along with her husband, leads a fabulous ministry - especially for youth. You will be inspired.

Wednesday, July 29 : Ted and Sharon Broer
They're a dynamic duo and they can show you the way to better health. Their books and CDs offer life changing information. Thousands have been helped by their teaching on healthy living.

Thursday, July 30: Dr. Paul Williams
This amazing Medical Missionary has been involved in tragic disasters around the world. He will tell you exactly how to hope for the best, but PLAN FOR THE WORSE.

Friday, July 31: Patrick Tillman
I just love a great testimony and Patrick has one. Don't miss his story of God's deliverance and how he is now in the ministry helping those who have the same problem that he had. Isn't that just like the Lord?

Remember HOMEKEEPERS is aired Monday through Friday at 5:30 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. EST on the CHRISTIAN TELEVISION NETWORK, DIRECT TV, and the DISH NETWORK.

We love to hear from you - YOU ARE LOVED.

HOMEKEEPERS - July 13 - 17, 2009

Monday and Tuesday, July 13 & 14

If you're interested in learning, or increasing the learning skills of your children, don't miss HOMEKEEPERS on these dates. My guest is Donna O. Johnson. This lady has devised a method for learning that guarantees a 4.0 grade average. Meeting her was one of the high lights of my interviewing career.

Wednesday, July 15

Dee Brestin is a nationally known speaker and writer who has a heart for women and the challenges we face. You'll love her.

Thursday, July 16 and 17

Phyllis Benigas is on my short list of women to admire. I've known her for about 3 decades and she is an absolutely consistent Christian and has had a great ministry with her husband Tom as they've ministered to thousands of teenagers in Central Florida. After you hear her, you'll want to order her new book, INTIMATE MOMENTS WITH THE SHEPHERD.

Don't forget - the program airs 5:30 A. M. and 1:00 P.M. EST - Monday - Friday

THANK GOD FOR AMERICA

Hi Friends - Don't tell anyone - but I'm working in my office for a couple of hours..........yes, on Sunday. You could call it one of those "getting the ox out of the ditch" moments. I can accomplish much and think more clearly when no one is around.

I hope your "fourth" was an enjoyable one. My daughter's Mother-in-law has an apartment on the 14th floor of a building over looking the St. Pete Harbor, which owns a view that would cost a great deal if tickets were sold. We watched the spectacle of hundreds of boats and majical fireworks hurling toward our window.

My daughter-in-law, Terri, is the world's best at documenting family events and manages to get photos on the internet within minutes. True to form, yesterday evening I received photos of my precious great grandchildren (4 of them) in the neighborhood parade. Patriotism permeated the pictures. . .. . . wouldn't it be great if every neighborhood in America had it's own parade? I hope to watch those "greats" parade by next year. They live in Montgomery, Alabama.

HERE'S THE LINEUP FOR HOMEKEEPERS THIS WEEK: Remember the program airs at 5:30 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. EST, Monday through Friday.

Monday, July 6
This program is dedicated to the wonderful people who make HOMEKEEPERS happen. You'll see pictures of the camera people, the technicians - all of us who are 'WORKERS TOGETHER WITH CHRIST JESUS"........that includes you as you pray for us and financially support the ministry.

Tuesday, July 7th
My guest Tracey Dannemiller was a guest on the program about 10 years ago when she had recently been diagnosed with HIV and learned the horrible news that it had been passed on to her daughter. This program, ten years later tells a story of triumph over tragedy.

Wednesday, July 8th
Tim Dannemiller joins his wife Tracey on this program. Tim was introduced to drugs when he was 8 (yes that's 8) years of age. A battle ensued for decades. They describe the torment and the toll taken on the marriage, but just stay tuned for "THE REST OF THE STORY".

Thursday, July 9th, and Friday, July 10th
Both of these programs feature Carolyn Goad Pankella. Her story of loss and incredible sorrow illustrate the power and truth that Jesus has come to heal the brokenhearted.

Please pray for these programs. I always ask the Lord that the guest and I will say exactly what HE wants us to say and that we'll have brand new viewers for each and every airing. Will you join me in that prayer? Thanks so much.
