HOMEKEEPERS TELEVISION MINISTRY

I would like to introduce you to HOMEKEEPERS, a television ministry designed to strengthen the American Home. I have produced and hosted this program for more than 10 years. It is aired Monday through Friday on the CHRISTIAN TELEVISION NETWORK, DIRECT TV, and SKY ANGEL. It is aired 3 times weekly on the ILIFE NETWORK and once each week on the VICTORY TELEVISION NETWORK.

We make every effort to cover any topic that affects the home. As you can imagine, that gives us an unending range of issues to explore. It is my belief that when America's homes are Biblically based, this nation will become a nation of peace, tranquility, and our children will experience a sense of security that they have never known.

I hope you will check it out and give me your ideas. The guests for next week are:

Sharon Marshall Lockett - Topic: Helping your children with homework.
Risa Tramel " Her story as a cancer survivor.
Trisha Scott " Recovery from a severe brain anurysm.
Kim Bolton " Overcoming fear after a home break in.
Bruce & Lynn Patterson " Giving meaning to Biblical Jewish Traditions.

God's very best to you, keep enjoying the summer.

Arthelene

thank you so much for your show. caught it today for the first time. my mom was a homemaker for me and my six older siblings and i am now a homemaker with 4. thank you for a show for us. God bless you for this ministry as tv, even commercials, even Christian tv at times, are geared towards the assumption that all mommies are working. but there is a growing movement of women coming home as evidenced by the stay at home mom blogs that are all over the internet. thank you again.

Hi, I saw your program this morning, August 20, 2008. I was up early because this is the first day of school. I am a Christian who has been teaching in the public school system for over 20 years. While I appreciate the work done by the authors of "From Crayons to Condoms," I would like to offer you another perspective. I can only speak from my personal experience and am commenting strictly on the info presented on your program this morning... Countless Christian families and teachers inhabit public schools each day. We pray for our teachers and support our local schools. I used to have a manger scene in my classroom (along with a menorah)and later had one in my office when I was out of the classroom. I was never asked to remove it. Detractors of the public system decried values clarification, etc. back in the 70's when I was in school. I have taught elementary, middle and high school courses and have never been asked to teach this. The author seemed to reference California a lot. Maybe these are issues there? The whole language approach described by your guest has not been in vogue since the 80's. It went out when I started teaching (1987). Focus now is on discreet learning using phonics, phonics, phonics. I kind of got the feeling the authors had stepped back in time. One thing I think is exciting about being a believer today is that we as a community are able to discuss our different viewpoints in public. I respectfully hope you will consider mine. Thank you, Lisa

What a blessing to have a show on that honors women in their high calling as a Proverbs 31 woman.
Thank you for serving!
BTW that pistachio pudding cake/bread using sourcream and yellow cake mix is a cinch! :)
Where do I get the actual recipe for it without sending away? Is there a website?
